THE CUBESAT CHALLENGE
Work with Astronauts, Scientists & expert educators
SEND a satellite to the edge of space*
Available for Students aged 9 -18
*Advanced programs only
From the first beep of Sputnik 1 to the pictures of the universe taken by the James Webb Telescope, artificial satellites have proven to be a very important tool to increase human knowledge and technological innovations. We are excited to introduce you to the world’s first student satellite system that simulates a satellite mission and celebrates the transfer of learning in a unique event that encourages you to make and test your own satellite, teach about satellites, and witness the launch.
Why the CubeSat Challenge?
Meet and work with expert educators, Scientists & Astronauts
Design a CubeSat that can be launched to the edge of space!
Team working & soft skills training & workshops
Learn critical 21st Century skills including coding, design thinking & innovation
Find solutions to the worlds most pressing issues
Students aged 9 -18 have the chance to work with Astronauts, scientists, industry experts and educators.
In teams, students will propose ideas for their own CubeSat & design it; the best idea is chosen on the final day and will be launched to the edge of Space either on site or in a live stream.
With help from our team of Astronauts, Scientists, expert educators, and mentors; students will learn about Space, STEM and various soft skills through a variety of exhilarating hands-on activities.
